Banda Sin Nombre is a folk ensemble blending global roots music with activism and performance art. The band features rich vocal harmonies and acoustic instruments including guitar, fiddle, accordion, charango, jarana, cajon, and upright bass, mixing original compositions with unique interpretations of traditional folk music from around the world. Established in 2012 in the Bay Area, the band is a femme- and nonbinary-led group that has performed in arts spaces throughout California and on tour in Europe and Latin America, combining music, drag, and dance for a vibrant and immersive experience.
